CLIR Welcomes Freshmen to MCL
CLIR welcomes all freshmen to the Malayan Colleges Laguna.
For the next 4 or 5 years, CLIR will be one of your partners in your effort to excel in your academic pursuits. It offers a rich array of information resources in various formats (books, journals, theses, electronic resources, videos, etc.) which will help you succeed in your college life.
A vast collection of electronic resources (eBooks and eJournals) can be accessed through the library’s
eBooks and
eJournals page. Two of the most popular databases are
IEEE Xplore, for technical literature in engineering and
SciVerse, for scientific journal articles and book chapters.
CDs, DVDs, printed books and journals are still available for loan. Visit the
Policies and Regulations page for specific loan policies.
Searching for book titles or topics is now a breeze as you will now have access to the new and robust online library catalog.
For freshmen, CLIR can be overwhelming, but assistance is available via our Ask-A-Librarian Service -- in person, through phone, or via email and chat/instant messaging. Librarians are committed to assisting you, or helping you find the information that you need.
